The scope of work was to provide a Freezer for quick and effective freezing of fresh croissant dough to -30°C in a energy efficient and low environmentally impacting fashion.
Due to our extensive work with R448A (typically not a refrigerant that is used for very low temp), we were able to use a sub-cooled liquid refrigeration system by Emerson coupled with a Carel EVD Ice Electronic Expansion Valve on Cabero Evaporator coil to allow efficient and effective operation at -30°C. Wellington Refrigeration Ltd’s continuous commitment to specifying high-end quality products, though slightly more expensive in capital outlay, pays dividends to the client with fast and effective performance, energy efficiency, environmental responsibility, and reliability (low failure rates).
